Biodiesel production from camelina oil: Present status and future perspectives

چکیده
Camelina sativa (L.) Crantz is an oilseed crop with favorable potentials for biodiesel production, such as the high plant yield, oil content in seed, net energy ratio, and low production cost. This review paper deals present state perspectives of from camelina oil. First, important issues seed pretreatment are reviewed. Emphasis given to different technologies that have been used so far worldwide, economic assessment (COB) camelina-based biorefineries integrated COB life cycle analysis, impact human health ecosystem. Finally, techno-economic especially genetic engineering points view discussed.
